Photography
Photography and photorealistic imagery has been a fundamental component of my work all the way through, this stems from the rostrum cameras of the pin-registered tape-slide days. I remember spending days in hot, humid, dark-rooms using an Oxberry, a Forox and Marron Carrel, these used to be so expensive, worth a fortune then... probably worth nothing now.... but, look on the bright side, we've got Photoshop now!
During a major clear-out most of my 35mm slides were donated to Portsmouth City Museum, together with an extensive slide library. However, for your viewing enjoyment a selection of non-commercial photography has been added to Flickr (for a quick look visit DarckR).
Everything is shot digital now and processed with a combination of Photoshop, Photomatix and Topaz.
Commercial and industrial photographic assignments and product and packs shots are very welcome, but not; weddings, christenings, Bar Mitzvars, children, babies, parties, pets or porno.
