Digital Video & Audio

Corporate Communications has decades of video and audio editing experience. From corporate videos and conference modules to full length "programs". I was fortunate to work extensively with Useful Companies during the development of their, then unique, excellent system for syncronising TV's, computer screens, video walls, LED displays, cube walls and video projectors with movie cameras - for feature films and TV advertising. This was very interesting work both technically and creatively.

DVD

The DVDs I produce look as good as what came out of the camera, with clear, attractive and easy to use menus - as you would expect. I like to maintain the correct aspect ratio, and when someone is talking to camera the words come out of their mouth at the same time, unlike those produced by some people I have had the misfortune to meet.

Digital Audio

I was taught how to edit audio on mag tape, an editing block and a razor blade. Voice was easy, editing a well known classical piece to a specific duration was more of a challenge. As well as producing sound-tracks I have also provided the audio for voice-prompted surgical equipment. Editing audio is a joy now, what with it being both audible and visible - being able to actually see the waveform makes it a lot easier.
